Although more than a few reviewers complain of what they perceive as a decline in the quality of the interior of the VW Jetta sedan lineup lately, most quick to point out that the play on words is not clear in the Sportwagen.

For all this, the SE adds 16-inch alloy wheels standard, convincing imitation leather seats, a cooled storage box and a pair of additional speakers and satellite radio, while TDI rearview camera and throw in some added leather interior accents.
An important option is available for the SE and TDI versions is the power panoramic sunroof, while the TDI still qualify for touchscreen navigation system. All trims, while, can be delivered with splash guards available, upgraded and upsized wheels and body kit by adding extensions and front skirt and rear valence.

Oh, and again for 2014, both S and SE are also offered in eco-tweaked PZEV (Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle) sub-trims.
